Onboarding

Step 1: Create Your Account
Navigate to https://getvendex.com
Click "Sign Up" or "Get Started"
Complete the registration form with business name, country, industry, contact details, and password (minimum 8 characters, 1 uppercase, 1 number)
Click "Continue"
Email Verification
Within moments, you'll receive a verification email. Emails from Vendex will always come from help@vendex.africa or noreply@getvendex.com. We will never ask for your password or OTP via email.
Step 2: Complete Business Profile
After verification, complete your business profile with:
Business name, Enterprise ID (auto-generated), and Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Phone number with country code (+234...)
Complete business address (street, city, state, postal code, country)
Business documents: Certificate of Incorporation, tax registration, proof of address
Company logo (200x200px minimum, PNG/JPEG, max 512KB)
Step 3: Configure FIRS Integration
(Optional) If you plan to use FIRS e-invoicing compliance features:
Navigate to Integrations > FIRS MBS and click "Complete Setup"
Provide Tax ID, Entity ID, Business ID, Service ID, Access Point Provider, and cryptographic keys file
Upload cryptographic keys file (.txt format)
Test the integration using provided sandbox credentials before going live

Step 4: Set Up Payment Collection
Configure how you'll receive payments from customers:
Automated Payment Collection (Recommended): Enable automatic reconciliation with ₦500 fee per processed invoice, real-time notifications, and automatic receipts
Manual Collection: Share bank details on invoices, manually confirm payments, no transaction fees but requires manual reconciliation
Step 5: Invite Team Members
Add users who will access your Vendex account:
Navigate to Team > Admins and click "Invite Admin"
Enter team member details (name, email, role)
Click "Send Invitation"
Owner
Full access to all features, billing, and settings
Manager
Create/edit orders, invoices, customers; view reports
Finance
View financial data, reconcile payments, manage receivables
Step 6: Create Your First Invoice
You're now ready to start invoicing! See Section 3.1: Invoicing for detailed instructions.
